Key Focus
The primary focus of this role is to design components as per customer requirements, leveraging expertise in sheet metal design, and ensure smooth nesting/CNC programming for TPP (Turret Punch Press) operations in alignment with the micro-level production plan.Roles and Responsibilities
Design components based on customer specifications.
Perform programming and nesting of components for TPP.
Ensure FRC (First Run Capability) with job nesting.
Optimize sheet consumption for economical usage.
Prepare manufacturing component drawings based on GA (General Arrangement) drawings for customized electrical panel business.
Oversee smooth production processes on TPP as per the micro-level plan.
Implement applicable standards and group guidelines, such as QMS (Quality Management System), EMS (Environmental Management System), and Legrand Way guidelines.
Functional Competencies
Proficiency in sheet metal design using 2D/3D CAD and CAM tools.
Hands-on experience with Campath and Radan software.
Strong technical knowledge of products, fabrication processes, and engineering drawings.
Ability to prepare accurate component drawings.
Proficiency in electrical panel design and AutoCAD.
Qualifications, Role-Specific Knowledge, and Experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 6-8 years of experience or BE/Btech in Mechanical/Production Engineering with 5-7 years of experience in panel industry).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
