    Designation/Title: Dy Manager / Manager

    Key Focus:
    The primary focus of this role is to design & develop New products and to provide support till the production & product launch phase, along with life cycle management for existing products ensuring continuous improvements in product quality at optimal product cost for customer satisfaction.

    Roles and Responsibilities:
     Design and develop innovative concepts for Panels – Power control center (PCC) & Motor control center(MCC).
     Provide design output/ Specifications in both 2D and 3D format
     Prepare Panel test plan for range using cross referencing conforming to IEC 61439-1 & 2
     Validate & test prototype as per the design specifications and standards. Also Ensure new product features/ function are met as per marketing specification.
     Make changes/ improvements in Design based on the testing results and ensure that the product is functioning as per its features and specifications.
     Collaborate with cross functional teams - R&D Industrialization, CPD, QA and ME teams for new product development and qualification.
     Undertake testing/ certifications of new products from Internal & External Laboratories and certification bodies like ASTA, UL .
     Work on design and process changes to improvise productivity of existing Panels being manufactured.
     Train team members on product design, development and 2D/3D design software and sharing of Technical Knowledge within team and other departments.
     Work on continuous product enhancements and life cycle management of all products.
     Analyze customer complaints, Production stoppage feedback and provide solutions in time.
     Manage and control data to ensure database accuracy of over 90% consistently.
     Work with quality, production, planning and procurement, vendor development, press shop and mould shop for increasing process efficiencies and productivity and also improve the R&D operations.

    Requirement:
     Knowledge and experience in Electrical/ Mechanical designing of LV Switchgear Panels Products.
     Expertise in Designing through design software – Creo, Catia.
     In-depth Knowledge of standards like IS, IEC and ISO related to products.
     Certification experience for LV Panels – Testing data analysis and reporting skills 
     Project management and interpersonal skills
     Innovative and creative approach in design.
     Awareness and updated knowledge of the industry and technology 

     Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge and Experience
     Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical Engineering
     Relevant work experience of 6 - 8 years

    Looks after all sales technical & commercial activities of end clients (Industries, Builders, Govt. Authorities, etc).

           Coordinate regularly with Marketing & Designing department & with client & record all technical & commercial papers properly.

         Study/Review of tender documents, scope of work, drawings, BOQ, specs, client’s requirement etc from the tender documents for proper estimating work.

           Prepare technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specifications & BOQ.

           Prepare BOQ unit prices as per tender BOQ format & filling.

           Prepare price analysis, proposed vendor list, data sheet as applicable.

           Prepare value engineering, when required

           Attend meetings, trainings as scheduled or organized by management.

    The BDM-LV Panels is responsible for budgeted order inflow, order execution, project delivery, payment collection accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of sales & execution related activities and resources.

    Accountable for the budgeted order booking & sales (invoicing) of LV, MV Switchboards & Bus ducts for Pan India region.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    This is a direct sales role that will be responsible for direct or indirect selling and/or management of project resources.

    Conducting technical discussions with customers & achieve technical closure leading to commercial discussions.

    Has a sharp commercial acumen with good understanding of commercial aspects of LV Switchboard sales.

    Works with cross business teams & Important clients.

    Lead the sales process and actively drive project execution incl. the associated risk provision within the contractual frame, in order to exceed/meet the cost, schedule, P&L targets

    Ensures compliance with company standards, laws & regulations.

    Ensures payment collections for customer contracts.

    Manage customers and actively develop the required relationship to ease communication and support outcome.

    Drive process adherence and team coordination between functions such as Estimation, Marketing, Design, Planning & Manufacturing, Finance & After Sales Service.

    Coordinate with other teams for order booking, customer inter-action, execute projects, based on individual project specifications.

    Resolve any issues including lack of adherence to contracts, project quality or timeline issues

    Demonstrate strategic and tactical knowledge to deliver excellence and drive continuous growth.

    Desired Experience

    14 + years. Special focus on Metro rail, Airports, Commercial Infrastructure, Industry, hospitals etc. Previous experience in these sectors is preferable. Good networking among the consultants, specifiers, EPC companies & leading Govt. Deptts & corporates.

    Academic Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical or Electronics)
